In this position as Foundation Phase Director,  Rodo Castilla supports both coach and player development in the Foundation Phase (U10, U11, U12) - overseeing the Catalyst Program.  The Catalyst Program is available to many talented and motivated young players in these ages, includes integrated training, invitational training, developmental games, futsal, and skill builders to inspire long-term development.   

Prior to joining Houston Dynamo Academy, Castilla served as Youth Director of Coaching for several top soccer clubs in the Houston area for more than 15 years and has been part of the STX ODP Coaching Staff since 2014. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, US Soccer Federation “A” and Youth National Licenses, and is finishing a Master’s degree in Soccer Coaching.
